History of Shankheshwar Dada's Antiquity Pedhi:
In Vikram Samvat 1766, it has been renovated with the inspiration of Vijay Sensuriji, a disciple of Jagadguru Hirsuriji. Vardhamansuriji, who passed away 700 years ago, became the presiding deity of Shankheshwar Tirtha by spending time in the meditation of Shankheshwar Dada while continuously worshiping 500 Ambils.

Then Shankheshwar village falls into the hands of Nawab of Radhanpur. To the Nawab all religions were equal but Begum was religious. Day by day the number of pilgrims visiting Shankheshwar started increasing and Chaitri Poonam even started filling the fairs.

Greed arose in the mind of the Nawab. If I put Mundakvero (i.e. tax on everyone) on the pilgrimage on the day of Purnima in Shankheshwar, the revenue of my state will increase. The Nawab also declared the Mundakvera order without thinking, without consulting any guild. News of this reached the Tirtha administration and the Jain Sanghs. The Nawab took a direct decision without consulting us. That's not right. At that time the leader of the Jain Sangh was Jivandas Godidas Seth. He conveyed the message to the Jain Sanghs all around and from village to village that no one is going to travel to Poonam ....

When the Nawab also came to know about this, he thought that if one does not go to Radhanpur, what difference does it make that pilgrims from village to village come here. So my bag will be full. While sitting down to eat, Begum also said that this black law is not fair. Laws against religion should never be made. But the Nawab did not believe.

Nawab arranged his troops for Mundakvero around Parshvanath's Jinalaya. On the morning of Poonam, everyone went to work early ... On the day of Chaitri Poonam, Shankheshwar was so crowded that there was no place to walk, but this time it was a surprise that a man did not come. The priests also fell into thought. The Nawab also became astonished. What is this? Mahajan's order seems to be more fulfilling than mine.

The next day when the Nawab called the Radhanpur Maharaj, Jivandas Sethe said that Mahajan has a great Maharaja. Shouldn't such a black law be made for his darshan?
At the insistence of the Mahajan, the Nawab withdrew his order. Chronological administration went from Radhanpur to Ahmedabad in the hands of Arvindbhai.

It was Jeevandas Seth who abolished Mundakvera so that Shankheshwar's generation was named Seth Sreejivandas Godidas and immortalized the protagonist of Mahajan forever. This was the history of Dada's antiquity generation.
