An interesting story about the construction of the statue of Shankheshwar Parshvanath Prabhu:

Shri Damodar Jineshwar Prabhu, the ninth Tirthankar of the last Chovishi, was asked by his devotee Samakiti and a devotee named Vratdhari Ashadhi, wanting to know how long he had to wander in the world, saying, 'Oh God! When and in what time will I be saved? ' Then that merciful Lord replied that 'In the coming Chovishi, in the fourth ara, there will be the 23th Tirthankar Shri Parshvanath Prabhu and you will become his Gandhar.

Knowing this fact, he was overjoyed. Ashadhi Shravak, who was very happy to hear this, realized that the future 23th Tirthankar Shri Parshvanath Prabhu would be his special benefactor, built his beautiful idol and honored him at the auspicious moment in the Jinalaya he built. Began to do.

Eventually, as he developed apathy, he left Grihasthashram and took up the character. He died of starvation and was born as an aviator in the heavens. There he saw his preconceived notions from time immemorial. He brought the idol of Lord Parshvanath in the heavens of Ashadhi Shravaka and kept it in his plane. done. Even in the abyss, Shri Parshvanath Prabhu, who has that divinity, was worshiped. Thus this idol became world famous as Trilokpujit Shri Shankheshwar Parshvanath.

Shankheshwar Parshwanath

History of where Shankheshwar Parshvanath idol was worshiped:

After taking initiation and renouncing everything, Ugadidev, standing in a state of immaculate disguise, meditating on the idol, is begging the first Tirthapati Shri Adinath for a state of humility and humility. Serving God night and day. While the Lord is walking, the thorns in his path are sprinkling fragrant water away from the pebbles.

Shri Nagendra Dev has once come to pay obeisance to Ugadi Dev. Pleased with Nami-Vinami Bhakti, Pathasiddha Gauri Prajnapati Adi gives forty-eight Vidyas and Vaitadhya Parvat in North-South range. Allows fattening.
Nami Vinami

Knowing that his work has been accomplished, Nagraj addresses Nami-vinami who is going in a hurry.
Excellency! The splendor of the world is fleeting. The one who is preoccupied with it loses his continuity. You who are absorbed in worldly splendor do not forget the service of Lord Yugadidev and at the same time do not forget the worship of the idol which I give you more than Chintamani Ratna. Seeing the supernatural image in the hands of Nagraj, the two brothers looked at Nagraj with astonished eyes .Nagraj! One Lord is Aadinath and this other Lord? Namiraj spoke up.

Excellency! This is the statue of Parshvanath, the great man of the future. Its very old history is just as interesting .People who worship it find happiness, peace, samadhi and prosperity in life. In the time of Lord Rishabhdev, the first Tirthankar of the present Chovishi , Nagraj Dharnendra made this idol divine.
Know the performance. He gave this idol to Nami and Vinami. Both the legislators made this idol on Vaitadhya mountain.Taken and worshiped for life.

When Saudharmendra Deva inquired about his salvation in the samvasarana of the eighth Tirthankar Lord Shri Chandraprabhaswamy, knowing his salvation from the mouth of the Lord in the reign of Tirthankar Lord Parshvanath in the twenty-third, Saudharmendra Dev had a great devotion to the future Tirthanpati Parshvanath. Saudharmendra Deva knew the influential divinity of Lord Parshvanath and brought that idol in his plane.

There Indra-Indrani worshiped with the price of Haiyan for 54 lakh years. This jinn statue, created by a mortal man, came back to the underworld. Saudharmendra installed that idol on the seventh short named Kanchan Balanak of Raivatgiri.
Nagkumar Adi Devas of this Jinmurti performed seva-puja forever. This supremely holy spring of divinity, which purifies the vision of gods and human beings, reached the time of Tirthankar Shri Munisuvrat Swami by passing through many pages of time. At that time, Indra of Saudharma Devlok brought this idol to  his temple and worshiped it forever.

When Prince Ramchandraji of Ayodhya went out for exile and reached Dandakaranya, Saudharmendra was worried about the vow of Darshan worship of Ramchandra and Sita, who were param jinbhaktas, when Saudharmendra Deva threw this divine idol of Paramatma Parshvanath Prabhu in a chariot with two gods. During the period of exile, Rama and Sita worshiped these Jinbimbos with Anera devotion.

When Ramachandraji's exile was over, Saudharmendra Dev brought this idol to his temple. For a long time Saudharmendra worshiped him. Saudharmendra re-established this divine idol in the seventh short named Kanchan Balanak of Girnar. There the Nagkumaradi gods began to worship him with devotion.

The story of the influence of this supernatural and divine idol as well as its history was heard by Nagraj Dharnendra at that time from a wise great man. Dharanendra brought this idol to his temple, where other goddesses including Dharanendra-Padmavati worshiped him with devotion. Thus a long time  passed.
